Things are growing

Transplanted 6 different kinds of tomatoes this afternoon, ran out of soil though, still have some more to take care of. Cleaned up and organized the green house. Steak, caramelized carrots, buttered potatoes, and salad for supper tonight. Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter.

Baby chicks or Big birds?

Dona is having an Easter family dinner tomorrow, so I made a Banana Breeze pie, do any of you remember that recipe that was on the cream cheese package for a long time way back on the 70's or so??? Also, tried to make some cupcakes that looked like little chicks, but instead they all looked like big bird because my cupcakes got really large..lol..

We just took the dog for a walk in the rain, but it was just starting so was very enjoyable. I told Bill that this is the kind of day I wish we had a porch, where we could sit in our rocking chairs with our coffee and listen to the rain. I guess I could go sit under the awning on the front window...not the same though...time for some more coffee, everyone have a great day! Also, we saw a ruby-throated hummingbird today too.!

Underwater suite anyone?

This is not a photoshopped picture, but is a real suite underwater. So beautiful, but no sure I could actually sleep there...the thought of the water over my head would be make me extremely uneasy....

Busy, Busy, me

Had a busy day today, Went to Salem, delivered gourd birdhouses, delivered blackberry jam, delivered eggs and mushrooms to mom, went to Walmart, had a tooth filled (not a Walmart). Came home, planted potatoes blueberry bush, and 40 strawberry plants. Transplanted broccoli and cabbage plants. cooked mushrooms on the fire pit..!!! Took a bath and can hardly keep my eyes open..and I'm supposed to be retired.....
