Winter Swans

We sat by our lake here in Kinmundy and watched the beautiful swans that are gathered there, they have been around most of the winter. They are so beautiful and graceful. I really appreciate these wonderful gifts that just appear for no reason at all.

Lunch with the girls today..

We had a wonderful lunch at Carol Easley Schwartz 's home today with our ladies of '67. We all brought different salads, and Carol made, soup, drinks and dessert for us. She had the tables all decorated and gave us each a Valentine's gift..I am so sorry, I was having such a great time, that I totally forgot to take any photos. So great to see all of you, and thank you Carol for being our wonderful hostess...

Belated birthday lunch

Bill, took my mother-in-law and me out for lunch at El Rancherito in Mt. Vernon, a belated birthday dinner for both of us Then to Hobby Lobby, Kmart and Walmart! We had a great time. I hope you all enjoyed your Wednesday!

Just a few projects on a snowy day

Wok and roll

We went to Anna, IL today to pick up some items that Bill won on a live online auction last night, we had a late lunch at the Wok 'N" Roll restaurant....yes, Wok 'N' Roll...lol...Chinese AND American food all you can eat buffet. We only ate the Chinese food, but it was delicious! It was a pretty day, yes, very cold, but the sun was shining and the drive was relaxing. Hope you all have had a great Friday!

New Year's Eve at the Yandell's

My daughter and family are famous for having glow parties, just anytime, doesn't have to be a special occasion. They turn out the lights and have glow sticks, glow glasses, glow balls/balloons everywhere and they play music and the silly boys dance, what a riot! I was there a couple of times, we even dressed the dogs up once with glow glasses..lol...so anyway, these are photos from last night's celebration. Sure do miss them all.
