Happy Easter

I made my annual Easter cake for our dinner with the Halterman's tomorrow....the inside of the cake is also the smae colors as the frosting. It's been raining most of the day, so I have been cooking and baking....my favorite thing to do...I hope you all have a beautiful Easter Sunday tomorrow!

March lunch with the ladies of '67!

Had lunch with the ladies of '67 today..our friend, Diedra Heaney was here from Texas...so great to see her and everyone else....we stayed at Joe's pizza for almost 3 hours, the time went so fast....had a great time....We had an adorable little guest come with her grandma, Sandie, such a cutie!

We went to Grapevine Mall per Garrets request, he wanted Olive Garden for late lunch and finished it off with a large Oreo cupcake and Birthday singing !! He said he had a great day and Thank you to all the Birthday wishes!!he is finishing his evening with a new xbox game.

Happy 12th Birthday, Garret!

I want to wish my grandson, Garret a happy 12th birthday! Also, look at this awesome Saturn V rocket he put together himself (well Lucas probably helped some too)...Love you bunches and glad mom got to come home for a week to be there for your and Lucas' s birthday..

A birthday party was held in the Secret Garden room at Country Creek Treasures today for this sweet little lady, who turned 90 years young....these other ladies were all her relatives, and it was so fun to see them enjoying each others company....They also bought her one of my hats... :) .Sally and I had fun making the food and working together too, to make their tea/birthday party perfect...

TBT...ran across this photo of me and my cousin, Linda. I can't tell you how many hundreds of times I have thought of her since she has passed. See that look on my face, that is how it always was when I was around her, she was so funny and easily could have done stand up. She was so much a part of my growing up years, and we had so many good times, when my cousun, Susan, came to visit from Hammond, IN, all bets were off, hilarity ensued with the three of us...how I miss those days and miss my cousin, Linda, very much...
