Wiener roast last night,it was a beautiful evening. We had quite the bon fire going, thanks Steve and Jeannie for inviting us.

Ladies of '67 lunch

I had lunch with my ladies of '67 today at Pizza Man, we were a small group this time, but we had a good time..We had some visitors join us, see that cute little guy at the end of the table, he was such a joy to be around...we missed those that are ill, recovering from surgeries and traveling, but we know you were with us in spirit! I hope everyone has had a good TGIF day!

A cool evening, finally!

Only 63 degrees tonight, perfect for sitting by the fire, I had to put on a jacket, I love it! Going to get hot again though, but that's how we roll here in Illinois!

I made these sugar free dreamcicle fat bombs for a snack later. Sure, I could have used ice cubes trays instead of candy molds, but what fun would that be? I am "one" with the dreamcicles today!

Red Hat lunch at Mi Pueblo in Salem IL

I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters at Mi Pueblo today. Delicious food with some sweet ladies. Kathy Albert made us use our brains with some games, then me made a craft out of a roll of toilet paper and other items. That was fun! A couple of the ladies had fried ice cream, sure looked good (see photo) and we all got a cute owl cupcake. We had a great day, thanks again, Kathy for another great lunch with you as our hostess.

Charleton Heston "Soylent Green is people"...

I received a free sample from Amazon yesterday, it's called Soylent Squared..it's a little square, I mean tiny, meal replacement bar, that tastes like a Tootsie Roll (the chocolate one)...it's made with soy, vitamins, and probiotics....I live among the soy bean fields and I see what they do to them, so I don't eat soy ever, but I had to taste it, you know, to be fair. There are 3 flavors, Chocolate (brown), Salted Caramel (gold) and berry (Pink)...at least they had the sense to not make Soylent Green.. 😉..I know you Sci-fi "old" people understand what I'm talking about.
