Jasmine and Rosemary's 1st birthday party

I went to a birthday party for these sweet twin girls today, Jasmine and Rosemary. .it was a Dr. Seuss theme and was a really good time with the family. I think these little girls enjoyed their first birthday party...look at the wheels they got from from Aunt Amanda and Uncle Matt..! So many pictures, but here are a few! Lunch with my buds

I had lunch with my dear friends, the ladies of '67 today. Delicious food at the China King Buffet.. we had some pretty lame fortunes in our fortune cookies...a couple were spot on though. I'm still waiting for that big surprise that's supposed to be coming my way. As always lots of laughter and good conversation with these awesome ladies..

We just got back from our second walk on this beautiful 78 degree day. Been out in the swing watching the squirrels jumping from tree to tree and chasing each other. Storms coming tomorrow. Everyone have a good evening!

A little geese gazing on a Sunday afternoon

A beautiful day here in Kinmundy town...I went for a long walk and then Bill and I paid a visit to Kinmundy lake. Not much happening out there, but waded through the broom sedge to get pictures of geese on the water ,they are so majestic. Back home now, pork chops, roasted veggies and homemade kraut, it's what's for supper....I hope you are all having a great day!

Fun times at game day at Country Creek Treasures today...bingo!

My two oldest came to spend the day with us again today! I fixed us a Mexican feast, with brownies for dessert. Shelley is winding up her work contract at Springfield this week and is heading back home to Texas on Saturday, so it may be quite a while before we see her again. What a fun day we had, love them so much. I hope you have all had a great Tuesday, Mine sure has been!

Warm enough for a walk today, saw lots of geese flying overhead. I am really ready for Spring! I hope you all had a great Saturday!

Red Hat ladies Valentine's party

I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today. Never a dull moment with this fun bunch of ladies! Lunch was followed by a lively game of bingo..with lovely gifts and candy treats..I hope you all enjoyed your Friday! A fun day despite the weather

A dark day with a cold rain is a perfect day to go shopping :) so that's what we did, ended with supper at the China King Buffet. It was all nice and cozy warm in the restaurant and the food was yummy...home now and time for coffee. Hey, it's winter in Illinois, what can I say? Have a good evening all!
