Lunch with the ladies of '67.adies

Had lunch with some of the ladies of  '67 today, always a good time with these old friends.

 Interesting sky tonight. Our weather man says there's smoke in our atmosphere from the California fires.

Coffee in the sunshine.

 What a glorious morning! It's 66 degrees with a breezy north wind and I am just finishing up my second cup of coffee in my swing. Can't ask for any better blessings on a mid-August day!

Red Hat ladies lunch at Village Garden, Salem, IL

 Had lunch with some of my Red Hat sisters today, what great stories and wonderful conversation! Our waitress was a Red Hat lady for 2 minutes.. she was such fun! So nice to see these ladies again.

Some recent projects:

Blackberry hand pies....yum!

Did a little baking today. Made blackberry hand pies, easy to eat and easy to freeze too. Guess I had better make some fresh coffee. You can't have pies without coffee...have a good evening all!
