Good Bye sweet friend, I will miss you

 I lost a dear, dear friend today. We have been friends since we were 10 years old and she was like a sister to me. The family has asked for privacy during this sad time, so I will honor that by not mentioning her name. I will miss her so much, my heart is broken.

Well, it's been a very nice birthday. Bill surprised me with a cake this morning. We had lunch at Chuck's place where a young couple we didn't know paid for our lunch because they heard Bill tell the waitress it was my birthday...such an unexpected kindness! Then, just now red velvet cake and cookies & cream ice cream! Happy Birthday to me! (the blue spots on me are from the crystals I have hanging in the window) Thanks for all of the lovely birthday wishes, you are all just the best!
