Such a pretty day again. We sat by the fire pit and watched bunnies play all afternoon, how cute, well, cute until they decide to eat the garden.. . It's not planted yet though, so I will enjoy them for now. Tomorrow we are having Easter dinner at Bill's mom's and mom is coming too, so looking forward to a nice day with family...I made this today, stole the idea from Pinterest....I hope you all had a great day!

S.S. Bird beach house.

Today I made something just for me! This is an old bird house that belonged to our neighbors, they didn't want it anymore, so gave it to us. It was on a wooden post out in the garden for years....now it's my up-cycled birdie beach house!

Our Owls...Bill had to drink a lot of beer so they could have eyes..lol

My owls are ready for their new home at Country Creek Treasures. I made one of them turquoise, because, you know, there's always one wacky one in the group, right? lol....I hope you all had a good day. It's snowing again here... Snow on April 14th, it's just crazy....

Over Pass Mall craft show

I face painted at a craft fair in Effingham today. Things were a little slow, but I had a good time and made some cash. The Easter bunny was there, making all of the little ones cry during their pictures...he was about 7 foot tall! lol....He almost made me cry some of the pictures were really cute though. I hope you all had a good day! Storms coming here tonight, they look kind of treacherous, everyone be safe.

Gene Stiman Tribute at Salem Theater

What a lovely evening! First we went out to supper at Applebee's, where our favorite cute waiter, John, waited on us. We even had dessert! Then onto the theater where we saw so many people we knew, so nice to see everyone! The concert was wonderful. Gene Stiman can sure play that trombone like he did in his younger years. He is now 90, but doesn't look it or act it. I found out tonight that he played with the Benny Goodman band back in the day before he became a music teacher...awesome! Linda and I went to talk to him, and he remembered us, and I was really pleased with that, for sure...he gave me a hug...still such a sweet man. I took a few pix, it was dark, so you know how that goes, but I got a few good ones. For those of you who don't know him he is the guy playing the trombone in the back at the end of the row. Really enjoyed sharing the night with my friends. I'm always so glad they put up with me..lol..I hope you all had a great day and got to enjoy this fantastic weather.

Good times with Mike and Carol!

We had a fun day, went to lunch with Mike and Carol Schwartz.  We went to the Salem Elks and had their Sunday chicken dinner special, it was really good. Then we went Mt. Vernon to watch "Divergent", seriously, don't waste your money on this one. The acting was excellent, but the story was lacking and was like a bad version of Hunger Games... We had a great time though, nothing like time with friends...Mike was driving us back home and we saw a guy mowing his lawn and his pants fell down...We didn't get a good look, so we drove around the block, but he had pulled his pants up by then..lol...people are crazy!
