Welcome.....
To my world of the weird, the strange, the unexplained.........
no, I'm just kidding, this is a happy place......OK, maybe I am just a little weird.
Day 4-Mariner's museum, and more lighthouses.
We traveled to the most northern point of the west side of Michigan
today, North Port. We drive until we ran out of land...lol.. We visited
a couple of museums and some more lighthouses. The Mariner's Museum in
New Arbor and adjoining buildings was very interesting. The first
lighthouse was closed but I got some good shots of it, along with the
water that was turquoise, so pretty! The second lighthouse was built
right into the top of the lighthouse keeper's home. We still
had to climb the spiral staircase, and up two ladders, a storm was
coming in over the lake, so the view was pretty misty from the top of
the lighthouse. Anyway, is was a very educational day, but I won't bore
you with museum photos, except for these few. It rained on us, but we
took pictures anyway.
