My sweet friend, Kathy Hardin, walked 5 blocks in the cold to bring me a warm loaf of homemade pumpkin bread. Thank you, Kathy, it's delicious and I appreciate it so much...having some blood orange tea with it on this cold, dreary afternoon...❤

Early Birthday Celebration for me and my mom-in-law

Just got back from my mother-in-law's house where my two wonderful sister-in-laws, Debbie Halterman and Jeannie ( Glenna Halterman) had an early birthday party for me and my mother-in-law, Dona Halterman. Subs, soups, salads and angel food cake (made with real angels, so my brother-in-law, Steve, tells me..lol) A cold ugly day outside, but a warm day inside with my family..We all enjoyed the twins, Jasmine and Rose Mary, they are really starting to move around now. I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday!

Red Hat lunch, January 2020

Had lunch with my Red Hat sisters at Applebee's today.  It was a small group, as it was raining cats and dogs, was cold and windy, but it was still fun and the food was delish...!  Me and a friend stopped in at  GoGourmet and got some coffee and visited with Lisa, the owner, did a little more shopping around town then came home........Bill went to an auction and I spent the evening reading...a most enjoyable day!

We had a lovely evening with Mike and Carol Schwartz last night for our New Year's Eve Celebration..we started out at Applebee's...it was packed with people.  Then we went back to Mike and Carol's and had wine and many hours of great conversation...we came home before midnight, because, you know, we are old people.  :)   We finished off our evening with hot fudge sundaes from DQ...Happy New Year Everyone, let's hope 2020 is an awesome year for all!
