brought her friend, Judy to join us too. A few missed out on the picture, but it was a fun lunch as always, despite the terrific storm that blew through here about that time. Love these life-long friends!

Vintage prism suncatchers

I found these vintage chandelier crystals at an antique store the other day, so I made these sun catchers this afternoon, you can never have too much sparkle. .. Seriously I made them to sell because my windows are already full of them.. it was a good day to stay inside, pretty miserable and hot out there..

Beautiful summer evening

Bill went to an auction this evening, so I have been in my hammock reading. Didn't miss this sunset though. Time to turn the party lights on and enjoy the lightning bugs.

I had lunch with some of my Ladies of '67 today..so great to see everyone and have some laughs and good conversation...sure had missed this gals...many couldn't join us today, we missed you all..life is getting back to normal here in Illinois..

It's honeysuckle time

I've been enjoying the smell of our honeysuckle in the evening, while sitting outside..so I just brought some in the house..i got stuck in the briar and buzzed by a bee, but it was worth it...they are kind of difficult to "arrange" into a pleasing-to-the-eye bouquet, so I just stuck them in a jar..function before form. Either way, they sure do smell good.

Perfect day today

Perfect day today. Spent the day reading in my hammock, pizza and beer by the firepit this evening and now this beautiful sunset. We have to find some kind of comfort in this sad, insane world these days..so these were my happy moments today.
