Super moon

A big beautiful bright moon last night, just had to get a picture. I'm glad I did, the clouds are coming in now bringing some rain, maybe. I hope you enjoyed your day, friends, we had a good one here.

 

Mysterious Visitors

The neighbor's ducks stopped in for a visit while we were sitting outside by the fire this afternoon. They just waddled down the driveway like they knew where they were going...

Thanksgiving Dinner 2020

Had such a wonderful time with the family yesterday, we were so happy to be together again. We ate way too much, laughed a lot and planned our Christmas brunch. Everyone have a great Saturday!

Veteran's Day Tribute

A special thank you to my son,

Alexander Preston Phillips

, (Preston) who has served 25 years this month in the army. He spent much of it in Iraq and Afghanistan..away from his family and in harm's way. He is officially retired in February. So thankful he made it back home safe and sound to all of us who love him and are so very proud of him. Thank you to ALL veterans who have kept us safe.

Update:  After finishing this book, I wrote a review on Amazon and staged this photo to add to my review....I happened to have the cup from Marie Laveau's VooDoo shop from when we went to New Orleans one time...had a little black candle...fit this theme of the book perfectly.  John Everson, is a friend of mine, and he loved the photo too...

A day at Carlyle Lake

Spent the day at Carlyle Lake with Bill and mother-in-law, Dona. It was so warm and beautiful, like a summer day. Had a picnic down by the spillway, went to the swinging bridge and.......we fed the gulls...we bad...
