A beautiful Sunday evening

I went to Ingram's Log Cabin village today, since it was the last day. There were large crowds of people everywhere. It's always good to see a local event being a big success. I ran into some old friends, good to see them again. The wind was blowing at 25mph ALL day. We had planned on cooking some hotdogs outside, but had given up on it. Suddenly the wind just stopped, so we've had our meal and are now by the fire having coffee and listening to some oldies...it's been a good day. Also my son, Darren, called from Disney world and my brother, Kim, (and Sylvia) called from CA...always good to visit with family.

 

The best reason to get flowers from your husband is for no reason at all.

Grand Re-opening of Country Creek Treasures

Country Creek Treasures is open until 4:00 today for our grand re-opening of our new downstairs extension. I stopped in for a while, had a nice visit, had some food, watched pottery making, (the soap maker was taking a break) and bought a candle! Lots of people there too, even with the Applefest and Log Cabin Village craft fair going on today!

September Red Hat ladies luncheon

 Good times with my Red Hat sisters today! We learned all about Johnny Appleseed and had to name all those apples on the table. Then we got to taste them all. Charlotte Mazanek is one of our Red Hat ladies and talked about her family's orchard history. Then we had this serial photobomber getting in every picture, love these crazy ladies!
