We have been out in our favorite spot all day. We roasted weiners, had cookies and coffee, while listening to some great oldies. We finally came inside, because we old people can't see in the dark.

Easter brunch with family

 Had a wonderful day with the Haltermans today. We had an early family Easter brunch. Then Bill and I spent some time outside and ended the day with this gorgeous sunset!

 

Butter Swim Biscuits...yummy!

Just took these Butter Swim Biscuits out of the oven! You can see the butter bubbling up from underneath! These are so good! It's easy to find this recipe all over the internet, if you are interested. They are a heavier biscuit and work great for biscuits and gravy too. I plan on making them during strawberry season for short cake.
