Lunch at Bandanas

 After an afternoon in Lowe's, Menards and Walmart, finally time to eat brisket at Bandana's!

 

Nutella no bake cookies

I made Nutella No-bake cookies today (no peanutbutter). There were a lot more, but before I could get them cooled and off of the cookie sheet, Bill had sat down with said cookie sheet on his lap and a glass of milk, need I say more?

 

 Another grandson graduating from high school tonight!

 

 All of my plants are happy we got some rain last night!

 

Girl's trip synopsis

We just got home from our Girl's Trip to Paducah, KY. We started out with a gift bag from our friends Sally Boyle and Kristy Hertel. On our way to Paducah we had a scavenger hunt, having to take photos with our pink flamingo and random objects, products, people and animals. I did not put all photos here. Our car team won. After a lunch of Pizza, we spent the day shopping downtown Paducah. Supper was at Big Ed's Buffet. After returning to our hotel, it was time for game night. We started off by playing, pin the crown on the flamingo, followed by Flamingo Bingo and ended with Scattergories. A bedtime story was read to us by Kristy Hertel. Much later...we went to sleep. Today we hit Goodwill and had lunch at Patty's 1880's Settlement. After spending time in the village, we headed for home. THE END.. Many thanks to Sally Boyle and Kristy Hertel for planning such a fun trip. My face still hurts from so much laughter....and I am tired.

 

Girl's trip to Paducah. KY

 In  Paducah KY on a girl's trip. Lots of shopping at junk shops, rock shops, craft shops. Lunch at a pizza place down town , the table next to us photo-bombed us! Supper at Big Ed's.

 

Afternoon fog

 It's unusual to have such thick fog this time of day. We did have a storm around 5:00 and got 1/2" of rain in about 30 mins. Anyway, it is so pretty with the sun setting.

Bill was mowing the grass today. Something happened to the mower. When I asked him what happened he said "A nut fell off", you know I couldn't let that one go, so I asked him "Did you hurt yourself?"...true story!
