Making breads on a snowy day

 What's the best way to spend a snowy day? Do a little baking! So I made some coconut muffins and a couple of round loaves of bread to have with spaghetti, all from scratch. It's carb city at the Halterman's today!!

Snow Day

 I had plans today, but it's snowing like crazy and it just started! So, I am just sitting here watching Stranger Things and drinking coffee in my jammies. Don't think I will be going anywhere, except to maybe take a walk in it, I love the snow!

 

Happy Thanksgiving

 

 We had lunch at Chuck's place today! Tasted so good on this cold, chilly day! Then there's Bill...look at him putting half a bottle of mustard on his Whimpy burger! Everybody have a great day!

 

Deer for dinner

 Had a deer round steak cookin' in the crock pot all day! Yum!

 

 It's the end of another beautiful Fall day! I spent a couple of hours out there because the cold weather is coming soon. You can see the webs of the grass spiders shining in the sun. Didn't see a lot of birds, just squirrels and crows. It might be about time to put the winter bird feeder up!

Had a good time with my World Color Press ladies last night! Always nice to catch up with these ladies I spent so many years working with and became like family!

 

 It's Throw back Thursday! Here is one of my all time favorite experiences! Singing songs and drinking beer in a real Irish Pub with the locals on our trip to Ireland many years ago! Something that is no longer on my bucket list!

 

No-knead bread

 Made some no-knead bread today. Still had to do all of the waiting for the dough to rise several times! Very good warm out of the oven though, so it was worth it!

 

Red Hat Ladies Birthday Party!

 Had a fun time with my Red Hat ladies today! We had a group birthday party with fun gifts, cupcakes, rubber duckies and a photo booth (wall). Thank you Laney and Betty Pollard for hosting us today!

 

Northern Lights

.Amazing northern lights in the sky tonight! I did not enhance these at all. Beautiful! You can see them better if you tap on the photos and get rid of the white border. I was a little late to the peak color.

A walk in the fall colors

 We took a little walk round Kinmundy Lake this morning. The leaves are gorgeous! A tiny snake was sunning in the road, I thought he was dead and he jumped at me, I yelled "its alive" and I jumped back, Bill thought this was hilarious! It was no bigger than an oreo.
