I  was looking out my backdoor, I have a suncatcher hanging there and this caught my eye, thought it was so interesting.

Snow.....

 Looks like the snow is over. We officially got 9.3". It is slick and extremely cold and windy and is going to stay well below freezing for at least a week, so guess we will be looking at this white stuff for a while( for those of you who don't live here). Might be a good time to catch up on my reading. Everyone stay safe and warm!

 

Two ingredient bread

 I tried a new bread recipe today. Two ingredient bread, just self-rising flour and whole milk. My bread pan wasn't big enough, I guess and a weird hunk exploded out on one end.. it reminded me of that scene in ALIEN ..so anyway, I just baked it an extra 10 minutes and it turned out great. Also the snow has begun....

An afternoon at Country Creek Treasure..a surprise

 Thank you Sally Boyle and Kristy Hertel (Kristy’s Kafe of Salem IL ) for my birthday pie and for singing Happy Birthday to me today! You ladies are the best! The homemade coconut cream pie was delicious! (My birthday was the 17th).

Happy Birthday to meeeee....77 trips around the sun

 I have had a great birthday! I told Bill not to get me a cake this year, like he always does, meaning that I don't need to be eating cake.....so, he comes home with brownies, cookies, chocolate bars and a pie! I should have just had the cake! He did also bring flowers, so I didn't complain too much about all of the sweets. We had lunch at Chuck's Place and while we were there it started snowing like crazy and the sun was shining the whole time. About 20 minites later, it was all blue skies and no snow. I got a few interesting pictures through the windshield as we were leaving. Talked to my brother's, sister-in-law, kids, friends and received cards and many messages! Thanks again for all of the birthday wishes facebook friends!

 

 

Throw back Thursday

 It's TBT...A day out with three of my dear friends way back in 2014. Our sweet Carol is no longer with us and we miss her so much. We sure had many, many wonderful times through the years and I am so grateful for them.

Red Hat lunch today

 I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today. It was nice to see those lovely ladies! There was also this beautiful sunset tonight. That is all!

 

 Country Creek Treasures is back open after our holiday break, so I have to get busy. I made a couple of steampunk items for my booth the last couple of days. The fog is gone, so maybe I will spend a little time out in the warmer temperatures. I hope you all have a great day.

Stranger Things Finale

 I just watched the finale of STRANGER THINGS, all I have to say is it did not disappoint! It was fun watching the cast of kids grow into adults in real time. Kudos to the Duffer Brothers for writing and producing this complex Sci-fi, horror, coming of age series for Netflix. Now, back to the real world . I think I have some laundry that needs folding..
