Robin's nest

Bill put a board across the awning outside the kitchen window, hoping a robin would build a nest there and sure enough, one did...she is sitting on some eggs now and doesn't seem bothered by us. Looking forward to babies in a couple of weeks.

Red Hat ladies lunch

I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today at La cocina Mexican Restaurant. We always have such a good time. I had been given a lot of Red Hat items to share with the ladies, they all enjoyed that! Happy Easter a day early

Dinner was delicious, the Easter cake is history, the egg hunt is over, the mechanical chicks entertained everyone and it was a wonderful day...here are a few pictures. Everyone have a blessed Easter!

My Easter cake for this year! The Easter bunny tending his garden of Chocolate eggs. I didn't want to cover the whole top with candy, because it is for a family dinner and not everyone likes that much sugar in one piece of cake.  So, I just made a wide garden path in the middle. The inside is green, yellow and pink swirl..

Vintage 50's lamp

 Look at this great vintage crystal chandelier lamp I bought at an online auction a while back. I love it! I got it for $11! Was it a bargain? it's a lot brighter than the picture shows.
