Soup and no bakes

We had such a nice day outside by the fire, then homemade Chicken and wild rice soup for supper with Bill's favorite, no bake cookies...I hope you are all having great day!

Robin's nest

Bill put a board across the awning outside the kitchen window, hoping a robin would build a nest there and sure enough, one did...she is sitting on some eggs now and doesn't seem bothered by us. Looking forward to babies in a couple of weeks.

Fishes

Some men bring home the bacon, my man brings home the fish..

Soup Friday

Vegetable soup with barley...its what for supper...

Red Hat ladies lunch

I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today at La cocina Mexican Restaurant. We always have such a good time. I had been given a lot of Red Hat items to share with the ladies, they all enjoyed that! I hope you are all out enjoying this beautiful day. (To my Ladies of '67...yes, I sat on the end, I know better...lol)

Happy Birthday, Caleb

Happy 15th birthday to my grandson, Caleb today! Much love from Grandma Sheila and Grandpa Bill. Have a great day!

Happy Easter a day early

Dinner was delicious, the Easter cake is history, the egg hunt is over, the mechanical chicks entertained everyone and it was a wonderful day...here are a few pictures. Everyone have a blessed Easter!

Easter cake 2021

My Easter cake for this year! The Easter bunny tending his garden of Chocolate eggs. I didn't want to cover the whole top with candy, because it is for a family dinner and not everyone likes that much sugar in one piece of cake.  So, I just made a wide garden path in the middle. The inside is green, yellow and pink swirl..

Homemade Hungarian mushroom soup, its what's for dinner!

Spring is springin'

I brought a little Springtime into the house today and it won't be long now and our little hummingbirds will be back in town.

Date Night

Date night...supper at Anthony's Wild West restaurant..yum

Chocolate fudge bunny for dessert.

Happy Birthday Lucas!

Happy 12th birthday to my grandson, Lucas today! Hope you have a great day! Love and miss you bunches!

Useless information.... :)

I was looking for the extra coffee scoop and ended up cleaning out three drawers and a cabinet... found the scoop! Guess I had better rest up before my next venture...sorting the twist ties by color .....oh, come on, I'm just kidding!

Vintage sewing shadow box

I've had these vintage sewing items in a basket for years, thought they would be better displayed like this...so me and my glue gun made it happen..

New Spring Dreamcatchers

A few dream catchers I made the last few days, sold a couple of them already...just didn't want you all to think I was just sitting around eating biscuits and gravy and being a sloth.

March Red Hat ladies lunch

Had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today. It was so nice to finally see them again! We missed those who are ill and those that could not join us today! Our waitresses had a little fun too! The bunny door prize, won by Tess Hilgers, courtesy of Country Creek Treasures! I hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Vintage 50's lamp

Look at this great vintage crystal chandelier lamp I bought at an online auction a while back. I love it! I got it for $11! Was it a bargain? it's a lot brighter than the picture shows.

Looks like Garret had a good birthday....
