Some cool LUCY memorabelia

This one plays the audio of the Vitameatavegamin commercial..  :)
Bill went to an auction last night, and bought a box of "junk", and we found these old I LOVE LUCY Christmas ornaments in there this morning., how cool! The TV one plays the audio from the Vitameatavegamin commercial, and the grape stomping one moves also...so nice to find unexpected treasures.

Her cheeks are bulging out from all of the chocolates..lol.

Illinois Renaissance Festival, Danville, IL

It's only root beer!
We went to the Illinois Renaissance Festival today, and met up with my daughter, son-in-law, and grand boys. It was extremely hot and humid, but we did our best to enjoy our day together. About 3:00 a strong storm came through, so we cut our day short, and got in our vehicles just as the first rain started to fall. We had to stop along the way home, couldn't see a thing. All in all, as you can see by the photos we enjoyed the Renaissance Festival, and plus, I had never been to Danville, IL...I hope you all enjoyed your day as well.

Huzzah!

Some singers that entertained us during our lunch.

Projects and more projects

I'm a little behind on my posts. Tuesday had movie day with mom, and I can sum up the movies with one word each : WALK OF SHAME- hilarious, THE QUIET ONES...Meh. After our movies we went to the Salem Park and had a picnic. It was a nice evening. Yesterday, I made stewed tomatoes and froze them for winter. Then I picked up all of the apples, but wasn't really in the mood to peel and freeze them, so they are in buckets, ugh, the grapes are ready too! Then Bill built these two tables and I finished them, taking them to Country Creek Treasures Tomorrow. I hope you all had a good day!

Good morning, friends. It is an extremely foggy morning, but it is beautiful. Bill saw these spider webs outside our window, just had to take some pictures of the droplets of water on them. Also, I had to remove the spider web from the hummingbird feeder, because we all know they can get wrapped up in the web as easily as an insect. I hope you all have a great day, and stay cool, it's going to be a hot one here.
