Monthly lunch with the ladies of '67

I had lunch with my Ladies of '67 at Mi Pueblo today. It's always a good time with these "old" friends. Thanks for all the laughs and hugs, ladies! We missed those that couldn't be with us today...see you all next time!

Beautiful day once again in Kinmundy town

We spent lots of time outside today and all evening, we just came back in the house just now.....Bill built us a fire and the tree frogs came out after dusk, like they always do... it does so much good to get lots of sunshine and fresh air.. It was a really good day!..

Update:  Well, it was just a rainer, with some wind and fast moving clouds...later the sun came out...

I thought this was interesting...for you young people who think there has always been an internet, computers and cell phones...Here's a real time chart, updated yesterday, that shows how many websites there were in 1991 until today..Bill and I didn't get a home computer (desktop of course) until probably 1997 or 98. Yet, it is an important part of our daily life, like most everyone else...it's hard to believe it is still so new and yet has exploded into every part of what happens on our planet. There WERE types of computers that just collected data in individual businesses..I worked two different places in the 1980's where I worked on these dinosaurs....we thought they were pretty great at the time though.

Bingo!

We had such a great time at Country Creek Treasures at game day today! I won the first three bingo games, no matter what kind we were playing..the force was with me! I won a bamboo wind chime, a bath scrubbie, a package of oreos and a Reeses peanut butter cup! What a haul! Seriously, it was just for fun with good friends, thank you ladies for a really fun afternoon, I needed that!

We had a belated birthday and anniversary lunch at Bandanas today! Yummy!

Taco Party with the Haltermans

We had a taco party with the Haltermans today. (there was also taco salad and sloppy joes) My siser-in-law, Debbie, made a fluffy cake and her grand kids made sea creatures out of fruit on top, so it was delicious AND fun to eat. We all enjoyed holding the newest additions to our family, Melissa and Tevin's twin girls Rosemary and Jasmine aka Rosie and Jazzy..they are so cute and are bursting with energy..Amanda, our niece, brought the great nieces and nephew, and they are always such a hoot and very interesting to talk to. It was a great day with the family. I hope you all had a good Saturday!

Red Hat Lunch

I had lunch with my Red Hat sisters today at Sharon's Cafe in Salem. We learned a lot about our country from the Farmer's Almanac that Kim Keller brought and quizzed us....Thanks to our hostesses, Kim Keller and Margo Keller..Thanks for another fun lunch, ladies, see you next month.

Baby Blue Birds

Our baby bluebirds are growing fast, there are three in the nest, but could only get a quick photo of this one while the parents were gone getting more food...they don't have their blue feathers yet, but are still so sweet...

TBT...me and my two cousins, Linda Westman Baggett, and Susan Westman Deak, we were all born the same year and got in lots of trouble together when we were growing up...I miss these two so much, as they have both gone to their heavenly home. :( Much love sweet cousins.
