Good times at the Erlingers last night. It was an evening filled with delicious food, wonderful conversation, and in a beautiful setting. We luckily dodged the storms that were all around us. Just to add to the fun a little knife throwing and axe throwing contest was held, which I was terrible at..thanks for a great evening Jeff and Lisa.
Gonna be a hot one today, a good day to make dreamcatchers and dream of Antarctica.
Had a nice visit with my son, Darren and daughter-in-law, Mindy, this afternoon and this evening. So great to see them! Plus, the day is ending with this beautiful sunset. Another summer day in the books.

Two of my brothers came for supper and a visit tonight. So good to spend time with family! They were here Thursday too, good times!
The Tepache is finished and so delicious! Look at those fermentation bubbles! Making another batch today! Waiting for my brothers to come over for supper tonight. We had planned on cooking out, but too cold and too windy for a fire, so guess we're having a cook-in.
Had lunch with my ladies of '67 today. We had a nice long visit and lots of laughs. We missed those that couldn't make it, hope to see you all next month!
Made some Creamy Cauliflower soup for lunch, mostly because I needed the room in the fridge...
also trying a batch of Tepache. I love making fermented drinks! I have
been making water kefir since it got hot, it's so refreshing! Water
kefir is supposed to be bottled to increase the carbonation, but I
really don't want to worry about bottles exploding, so I just add some
sparkling water...and that's my "cooking" tip for the day.

Good morning people of the world! I'm outside having my morning coffee, listening to the birds! We have a mocking bird near us, so fun to listen to all the different bird calls he's learned. The sun is just beginning to pop out from the clouds, it's going to be a hot one today.

Supper with friends last night, some old, some new! I had a wonderful time! No matter how old you get, girls just want to have fun and we did!
Well, it's graduation day for the last two robins, they just left the nest and are sitting on the board...it's been such fun watching them grow, but, yikes, look what they've done to my window.
Now this is what I call breakfast, scrambled eggs with salsa, cheese and fresh parsley, avocado, fresh pineapple and a homemade buttermilk biscuit..yum..!
Had a wonderful dinner with the Haltermans today for Mothers Day and date night with Bill, it's been a good day!
