We started out the day by taking Bill's mom to Louisville, IL for breakfast at the Fall Festival, pancakes and sausage sponsored by the Rotary club, very good, all you can eat! We checked out the rest of the festival, a big FAIL. The car show was great though, so by 10:00 a.m. we were all finished there. What to do, go back home? It was such a pretty day, so on a whim we just took off for Arthur, IL, those of you locally know this as Amish country. We went to Rock Home Gardens, shopped around town a bit, buying smoked cheeses, home-made noodles, angel food cake and cider! I got to see the jack-o-lantern house, so I was happy! The pumpkins are carved by local school children, they are lit up at night, but we didn't stay for that. Instead we headed for Yoders Kitchen. The place was packed, parking lot full of cars, but it didn't take long to get a table. Great food, btw. So after much walking, we are tired and skipped the Halloween Parade tonight..
