R.I.P. Uncle Bob, we love you..

Uncle Bob's funeral was just perfect. He planned it all himself, had already contacted Larry Rogers at the funeral home and wrote his own obituary. So all went exactly as he planned it. Salem Police officers stood guard at his casket, did several reverent changes of the guard, it was very touching.. The Salem Police department escorted everyone to the cemetery in Central City. The VFW and American Legion gave him a proper military funeral, with a 21 gun salute, color guard and the playing of taps. It was a beautiful day and a lovely ceremony. It was very nice to spend time with the family afterward too. Hug your loved ones today, because...you never know...
