Saturday, the next day, some of the girls went in separate vehicle into Grafton. Several went to resale shops and other places to do shopping, some went to ride the sky lift and visit a few museums. Linda Jo and I stayed back at the farm and sat outside drinking coffee and enjoying the beautiful weather.
After everyone returned from their day time adventures, we had sloppy Joe's, stuffed pepper soup with chips and Focaccia bread, we had the Cherries jubilee and ate the cookies shaped like fried eggs and cupcakes. It was our last night in Grafton. Some of us gathered on the sofa to watch endless episodes of Creep Show and others went back out to the fire. The ladies outside kept sending us messages begging for s'mores...bring out the s'mores, we want s'mores, Melissa bring out the s'mores..lol...mind you, they are only about 30 feet from the kitchen door. Finally Penny took them the stuff for s'mores...
The next morning we all had breakfast together and sat around the fire pit until our lunch reservation at Pere Marquette We then drove home by way of the river road. It was a wonderful time.
