The attack of the bats

Last weekend we built a fire pit with cinder blocks out in the back yard and had a cook-out, just me and Bill. So we built our little fire again tonight and sat out side and had some roasted hot dogs, chips and baked beans....s'mores for dessert, with the dark chocolate hershey....yum.

So everything was very pleasant, no wind, no humidity and warm temps. However, just as soon as the sun was below the horizon and the robins finally shut up their eternal chirping, here came the bats....they kept getting lower and lower and were buzzing us.....so we came in the house. Did you know that you can't hear bats, unless they make their little clicking noise? They just suddenly appear above your head in the dusk....creepy!
