Mr. Stiman, our Jr. High band directors plays at the tstreet pub

What a fun afternoon with friends today! We went to Christopher, IL to the T-Street Pub to hear our Jr. High band director, Gene Stiman, play with his group. He has never stopped playing his trombone throughout all of his 94 years...he played at St. Louis night clubs for many years as well. We went for lunch and 2 hours of these gentlemen playing songs from the past. We met some of our classmates from the class of '68 and some other guests as well.. After they were done playing, he wanted all of the Salem people to come up front as a group and have our picture taken with him, and then the one's that were his students, of which there happened to be only 4 today, for a photo...just had the best time ever! I apologize for these pictures, as some of them are blurred, mostly I took one shot most of the time. Loved seeing and visitng with everyone!
