Monarch chrysalis

I was checking on my caterpillars and what do I see? One of them is in the "J" position and attached to a leaf. I went back out a few hours later and he had already shed his skin and was in his chrysalis. Then I found another chrysalis attached to our fence, looks like it's getting ready to become a monarch butterfly....isn't this chrysalis beautiful? It actually has gold on it, looks like metal. If you look closely at the last picture, you can see the butterfly wings through it....so amazing.
